Meil Brewery & Taproom
Located in the Irish Channel neighborhood, Meil Brewery & Taproom has a modern take on its beer and the brewery. They offer a very spacious taproom and large patio that is welcoming to all pooches.
Meil beers are modern takes that are funky, interesting, and experimental. On-tap they have their modern takes on classics like the Disco Czech – Pilsner with an herbal finish or more experimental beers like the Surrealista – Honey IPA that pays tribute to their name Meil which means honey in Spanish.
For food, Meil has a rotating calendar of popups & food trucks. They also have plenty of neighborhood street parking.
NOLA Brewing Company
NOLA Brewing is another Irish Channel neighborhood, that is 100% dog-friendly brewery. The brewery has multiple spaces with 2 floors, a large back area, a patio, and an upstairs balcony deck. The balcony can get a little tight for your furry friend when it is busy.
Since 2008 NOLA Brewing has been the longest-continual brewing operation in New Orleans brewing some of New Orleans’s favorite beers like the NOLA Blonde Ale. Attached to the taproom is NOLA Pizza Co serving up slices of NY Style pizza.
The parking situation at NOLA Brewery is street parking on the side streets off Tchoupitoulas Street.
Port Orleans Brewing Co.
Fido won’t be alone at Port Orleans Brewing Co., their brewery website advertises that Port Orleans is dog and child friendly. You’ll be able to find space inside the taproom & on their patio with your pet.
Parleaux Beer Lab
You can find Parleux in the vibrant neighborhood of Bywater found downriver on Royal St. This canine-welcoming brewery is set up for visitors, the outside area has dog bowls and a water station for you to bring your pet!
If you are looking to escape the outside, Parleaux does offer a small dog-friendly taproom but it is mainly open to the beautiful patio.
Parleux is also high on our list as the patio is great and they are making some of the most interesting beers in the city.
Brieux Carré Brewing Co.
Around the corner just steps from the legendary Frenchman St, Brieux Carré Brewing is a dog-appreciated taproom and patio.
Brieux’s taproom is the tightest fit on the list so we recommend being confident that your puppy can handle close corners. They do have a patio outback & outside street seating where Fido can stretch out.
Urban South Brewery
From wild sours to traditionally brewed beers, Urban South will have something for every beer lover. The Urban South Brewery in New Orleans is also the ideal spot to drink brews with your dog.
Inside their large open space brewery is the taproom, so for pets that need a little more room, this is the right stop. Located in the Lower Garden District, Urban South has plenty of street parking.
